Israel Opens Applications for 2,300 Nepali Caregiver Jobs with Monthly Salary Over NPR 300,000

Under a labor agreement between the Government of Nepal and the Government of Israel, Israel has called for Nepali workers to fill caregiver positions in long-term care facilities. The Department of Foreign Employment has opened applications for a total of 2,300 assistant caregiver jobs.

According to the notice, 60% of the positions (1,380) are allocated for women and 40% (920) for men. Selected candidates will assist in caring for elderly and persons with disabilities living in group housing or private apartments in Israel.

Applicants must be between 25 and 45 years of age. Physical requirements include a minimum height of 1.5 meters and a minimum weight of 45 kilograms.

In terms of education, candidates must have completed at least Grade 10 along with ANM or CMA studies of at least 15 months, or have completed +2 level education with a minimum 3-month caregiving training from a recognized institution in Nepal.

Applicants must not have previously worked in Israel, and their immediate family members must not currently be residing or employed in Israel.

Selected workers will receive a minimum monthly salary of approximately 5,880 Israeli shekels (over NPR 300,000). Additional benefits include overtime pay, annual leave, and food allowances. While accommodation will be arranged by the employer as per Israeli law, the associated costs must be borne by the workers.

The initial contract period will be one year, extendable up to a maximum of five years.

Interested candidates can apply online through the official Department of Foreign Employment portal at ferms.dofe.gov.np. The application deadline is 12:00 PM on 2083 Ashar 7.

Applicants must upload a passport, recent photograph, educational certificates, training certificates, and a police clearance certificate.

The department stated that the selection process will include name-check verification, approval from Israel, and final selection through a lottery system to ensure transparency. Applicants are advised to rely only on official information and avoid any fraudulent offers.
