Kamana Sewa Proposes 15% Cash Dividend

Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited (KSBBL) has called its 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Bhadra 31, 2083, with the proposed cash dividend for the fiscal year 2082/83 among the key agendas.

The AGM will be held at Amrapali Banquet, Baluwatar Road, Kathmandu, starting at 11:00 am.

The bank's board of directors, at its 421st meeting held on Bhadra 8, 2083, proposed a cash dividend based on the bank's paid-up capital of Rs. 4.21 billion.

For the fiscal year 2082/83, the bank has proposed a 15% cash dividend, including tax, for ordinary shareholders. It has also proposed a 9% cash dividend for preference shareholders.

The proposed dividend will be presented to shareholders for approval at the upcoming AGM. Shareholders eligible under the book closure requirements will be entitled to receive the dividend after the necessary approval and distribution process is completed.

The AGM will also consider the auditor's report, profit and loss statement, financial statements and cash flow statement of the bank.

Another agenda includes the appointment of an auditor for the upcoming fiscal year 2083/84.

Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank had distributed a combined 15.7895% dividend through bonus shares and cash dividend in the previous fiscal year.

The bank has set Bhadra 18, 2083 as the book closure date. Therefore, shareholders who maintain their shares before the book closure date will be eligible for the proposed dividend and will also be entitled to participate in the AGM.
