Kantipur Cooperative Publishes List of 100 Borrowers, Urges Loan Settlers to Submit Proof
The Problematic Cooperative Management Committee has published the names of 100 borrowers of Kantipur Saving and Credit Cooperative and urged those who have already repaid their loans to appear with supporting documents.
The Office of the Problematic Cooperative Management Committee has released a list of 100 borrowers associated with the troubled Kantipur Saving and Credit Cooperative Ltd.
According to the committee, the list was published based on available loan records following a decision made on Jestha 20, 2083 (June 2026). Individuals whose names appear on the list despite having already settled their loans have been requested to visit the committee's office with valid proof of repayment.
The committee has also instructed borrowers with outstanding loan balances to contact the office and settle their dues as soon as possible. It warned that legal recovery procedures will be initiated against those who fail to repay within the prescribed timeframe.
The committee stated that publishing the list is part of its effort to recover funds and protect the interests of depositors affected by the cooperative's financial difficulties.
