‘Lalibazar’ Tops Nepali Box Office with Over Rs. 5.7 Crore Collection
According to Cinepa box office data, ‘Lalibazar’ has emerged as the highest-grossing Nepali film, earning over Rs. 5.7 crore.

The Cinepa box office under the Film Development Board has released the latest commercial performance report of currently running Nepali films. The ranking is based on ticket sales and revenue up to midnight of Jestha 9.
Directed by Yam Thapa, the film ‘Lalibazar’, released on Baisakh 25, has topped the box office by earning Rs. 5.76 crore from 196,406 ticket sales.
‘Paralko Aago’, directed by Laxman Sunar, stands in second place with Rs. 4.27 crore earnings from 153,925 tickets sold.
Praku Pandey’s ‘Malati Mangale’ has earned Rs. 51.63 lakh from 16,137 tickets, while ‘Guruaama’ collected Rs. 29.42 lakh from 9,327 tickets.
Similarly, ‘Life Damage’ has earned Rs. 28.46 lakh from 9,241 ticket sales.
At the bottom of the list is ‘Ek Mutthi Badal’, which earned Rs. 5.21 lakh from 1,501 tickets sold.
