United Modi Hydropower Limited has set Baishakh 3 as the final day for investors to secure its announced dividend.

The company will close its book on Baishakh 4 for its 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and dividend distribution. Therefore, shareholders holding shares until today will be eligible to receive the declared benefits.

The company has proposed a 7% bonus share distribution along with a 0.36842% cash dividend to cover tax liabilities on the bonus shares.

The AGM is scheduled to be held on Baishakh 27 at Kalimati Banquet, Kathmandu, starting at 11 AM. The meeting will seek approval for the dividend proposal.

In addition, special agendas include plans to transform the company into a holding company, change its name accordingly, and amend its memorandum and articles of association. The board will also seek authorization to proceed with the issuance of right shares in the future.
