Mandu Hydropower Announces 10.53% Dividend for Shareholders
Mandu Hydropower Limited has announced a 10.5263% dividend for shareholders from the profits of FY 2081/82, including a 10% bonus share and a 0.5263% cash dividend for tax purposes.
Mandu Hydropower Limited has announced a dividend for its shareholders based on the company's earnings from the fiscal year 2081/82.
A meeting of the company's Board of Directors held on Jestha 18 approved a proposal to distribute dividends from accumulated profits.
According to the decision, shareholders will receive 10 percent bonus shares based on the company's current paid-up capital of Rs. 1.36 billion. In addition, the company has proposed a 0.5263 percent cash dividend to cover tax liabilities associated with the bonus shares.
The total proposed dividend distribution therefore stands at 10.5263 percent.
The dividend proposal will be distributed only after receiving approval from the Electricity Regulatory Commission and endorsement from the company's upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The announcement is expected to be positively received by investors, as dividend declarations remain a key indicator of a company's financial performance and shareholder returns.
