Manushi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. has scheduled its 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Ashar 13, 2083 (June 27, 2026). The decision was made during the Board of Directors meeting held on Jestha 22.

According to the company, the AGM will be held at Hotel Ugrachandi in Banepa, beginning at 10:30 AM.

A key agenda of the meeting is the proposed merger between Manushi Laghubitta, Jivan Bikas Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd., and Unique Nepal Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Ltd. Shareholders will be asked to approve the merger-related report presented by the Chairman on behalf of the Board of Directors.

The AGM will also seek approval for all decisions and actions taken so far by the three microfinance institutions in connection with the merger process.

In addition, shareholders will discuss and approve the company's annual report, balance sheet, profit and loss account, cash flow statement, and other financial statements up to the end of the fiscal year 2081/82.

The meeting will also consider the appointment of an external auditor for the current fiscal year and determine the auditor's remuneration.

For AGM purposes, the company has decided to close its share register (book closure) for one day on Ashar 3. Accordingly, only shareholders maintaining ownership records as of Ashar 2 through NEPSE transactions will be eligible to attend and vote at the AGM.
