MetLife Nepal has contributed Rs30 lakh to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to support relief and rehabilitation efforts for communities affected by the recent devastating floods.
The floods in Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Dhading and other districts have caused significant loss of life and property, displaced communities and damaged critical infrastructure.
MetLife Nepal said the contribution reflects its commitment to corporate citizenship and solidarity with families affected by the disaster.
The company also acknowledged the ongoing efforts of the government, security agencies, rescue teams, healthcare professionals, humanitarian organizations and volunteers involved in search, rescue, relief and rehabilitation operations.
The contribution comes as relief and recovery efforts continue across flood-affected areas, with communities requiring support for immediate assistance as well as longer-term rehabilitation.
