Muhan Hydropower Limited is preparing to issue an initial public offering (IPO) to the general public. The company has scheduled its Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Bhadra 20 to approve the IPO proposal and other key agendas.

The company's board meeting held on Shrawan 29 decided to convene the AGM. One of the major proposals is to issue shares to the general public and authorize the board of directors to carry out all necessary procedures related to the IPO.

The AGM will also consider the proposal to approve the company's equity investment in other projects and authorize the board to make additional equity investments where necessary.

The company has also indicated the possibility of entering into a merger or acquisition process with another hydropower company. A proposal to authorize the board to proceed with the necessary work related to such a transaction will also be presented at the AGM.

The meeting will elect the board of directors and determine their facilities and benefits. It will also approve the company's annual report and financial statements for FY 2082/83.

In addition, shareholders will consider the appointment of an auditor for the current fiscal year and determine the auditor's remuneration.

If approved by the AGM, the IPO proposal will allow Muhan Hydropower to formally move forward with the process of issuing shares to the general public.
