Nabil Bank Calls 42nd AGM, Proposes 15.80% Dividend

Nabil Bank Limited has called its 42nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) for Ashoj 22, 2083. The meeting will be held at Tribhuwan Army Office, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu, starting at 9:30 AM.

One of the key agendas of the AGM is approval of the company’s proposed 15.80% dividend for fiscal year 2082/83.

The bank’s 712th Board of Directors meeting proposed the dividend on its paid-up capital of Rs. 27.05 arba. The proposal includes a 5% bonus share worth Rs. 1.35 arba and a 10.80% cash dividend worth Rs. 2.92 arba, including applicable tax purposes.

The AGM will also consider endorsement of the auditor’s report, profit and loss statement, financial statements and cash flow statement for FY 2082/83. Shareholders will also appoint an auditor for FY 2083/84.

The book closure date is Ashoj 14, 2083, when the company will close its shareholder register for one day in connection with the dividend distribution on Nabil 8% Irredeemable Non-Cumulative Preference Shares.

Shareholders who are on the company’s books before the book closure date will be eligible for the applicable dividend and can participate in the AGM, subject to the company’s stated eligibility conditions.
