Nabil Bank Issues 7-Day Auction Notice for Collateral Assets in Siraha
Nabil Bank has issued a seven-day auction notice for mortgaged movable and immovable assets of defaulting borrowers through its Siraha Bazaar Branch.

Nabil Bank Limited has issued a seven-day public notice inviting sealed bids for the auction of movable and immovable properties pledged as collateral by defaulting borrowers through its Siraha Bazaar Branch in Siraha. The auction process has been initiated to recover outstanding principal, interest, and other applicable bank charges.
The notice was published on Ashwin 21, 2083 (October 7, 2026), following an earlier 35-day public notice demanding repayment of the outstanding loans. Despite repeated oral and written reminders, the borrowers failed to settle their liabilities. The auction is being conducted under prevailing banking laws, including the Banks and Financial Institutions Act (BAFIA), 2073.
Interested individuals, private firms, companies, and corporate entities can submit sealed bids at Nabil Bank's Central Office, Credit Recovery Department, Bijuli Bazar, Kathmandu, or at its Siraha Bazaar Branch. Applications must be submitted within seven days of the notice publication during office hours, or on the next working day if the deadline falls on a public holiday.
Borrowers and guarantors can stop the auction process by appearing at the bank before the auction date and settling all outstanding liabilities in full. If valid bids are not received or the properties remain unsold, Nabil Bank may acquire the collateral assets directly in accordance with the provisions of BAFIA 2073. If auction proceeds are insufficient to cover the total outstanding debt, the remaining amount may be recovered from other movable and immovable assets of the borrowers and guarantors under the Debt Recovery Act, 2058 and applicable regulations.
