Nabil Bank has launched a Lifetime Free Credit Card campaign as part of its 42nd anniversary celebration, offering new customers a lifetime waiver on both joining and annual card fees.

According to the bank, customers who apply for a new credit card by August 22, 2026, will not have to pay any joining or annual renewal fees for as long as they continue using the card.

Niraj Sharma, Chief Business Officer for Transaction Banking and nBank, said the campaign is one of several promotional offers introduced during the anniversary period. He noted that Nabil Bank has been one of Nepal's pioneers in credit card services for more than three decades.

Eligible customers, including salaried employees, business owners, and individuals with a regular source of income, can apply through any Nabil Bank branch or digitally via the nBank mobile app and web platform. Applicants must submit proof of income, citizenship documents, passport-sized photographs, and other required documentation.

The bank said the entire application process can be completed online, with updates provided through SMS, email, or phone.

One of the key features of the card is an interest-free credit period of up to 45 days, allowing customers to make purchases without paying interest if the outstanding balance is settled within the billing cycle.

Cardholders can also benefit from the bank's Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) facility, enabling installment-based purchases of electronics, home appliances, and other products from partner merchants.

In addition, customers will receive discounts at selected restaurants, hotels, hospitals, shopping outlets, and other partner businesses. The bank also highlighted chargeback protection for eligible e-commerce transactions and confirmed that its domestic credit cards can be used in both Nepal and India.

As part of the anniversary campaign, Nabil Bank is also offering a 50% discount on Electronic Payment Gateway (EPG) integration fees for merchants and a 42% discount on Safe Deposit Locker security deposits. These promotional offers remain valid until August 22, 2026.
