Ncell Data Center Receives Prestigious TIA-942-C Rated 3 Certification, Marking a Milestone for Nepal's Digital Infrastructure

Ncell Business has announced that its advanced data center located in Nakkhu, Lalitpur, has received the globally recognized ANSI/TIA-942-C Rated 3 Design and Constructed Facility Certification, making it the first facility in Nepal to achieve this certification.

The internationally recognized Tier 3 certification validates the data center's high standards of reliability, security, redundancy, and operational resilience. It further strengthens Ncell's position as a leading provider of digital infrastructure and cloud services in Nepal.

Designed for maximum uptime, the facility offers approximately 99.982% availability through fully redundant power, cooling, and network systems. This ensures uninterrupted operations even during scheduled maintenance or unexpected incidents.

According to Ncell CEO Michael Foley, the certification represents a significant milestone not only for Ncell but also for Nepal's digital ecosystem. He noted that the achievement will help local businesses, financial institutions, government agencies, and enterprises confidently host critical services within Nepal.

The Ncell Data Center has already obtained internationally recognized ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certifications for information security and privacy management. The company also holds ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, demonstrating its commitment to quality management and environmental responsibility.

The certification further enhances Ncell Business's ability to provide secure, highly available, and regulation-compliant digital services to banks, insurance companies, government organizations, SMEs, and large enterprises, while supporting Nepal's broader digital transformation goals.
