Neco Insurance Begins Sale of 1.2 Million Founder Shares, Existing Founders Given 35 Days to Apply
Neco Insurance Limited has initiated the sale of 1.2 million founder shares.

Neco Insurance Limited has officially started the process of selling 1.2 million founder shares, offering existing founder shareholders the first opportunity to purchase the shares.
According to the company's public notice, a founder shareholder expressed the intention to sell 1.2 million founder shares, each with a face value of Rs 100. Following this request, the company's Board of Directors, in its meeting held on July 15, 2026 (Ashadh 31, 2083), approved the initiation of the sale process.
In accordance with the Insurance Authority's Founder Share Transaction Directive, 2077, existing founder shareholders must be given priority before the shares can be offered to other eligible buyers. Accordingly, Neco Insurance has invited all eligible founder shareholders to submit their purchase applications.
Interested founder shareholders must submit their applications within 35 days of the publication of the notice, no later than Bhadra 8, 2083, specifying the number of shares they wish to purchase and their proposed price per share. Applications should be submitted to the company's head office in Gyaneshwor, Kathmandu.
The company stated that if no applications are received within the specified period, or if applications are received for fewer shares than those available, the remaining shares will be offered to other eligible individuals or institutions in accordance with prevailing laws and the Insurance Authority's regulations.
Neco Insurance also noted that anyone seeking to acquire the founder shares must meet the eligibility requirements specified under the Founder Share Transaction Directive, 2077, issued by the Nepal Insurance Authority.
