Nepal Bank Limited has contributed Rs3.01 crore to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund to support people affected by the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi and Trishuli rivers in Rasuwa and Nuwakot.

The contribution was made through the bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Fund. Nepal Bank Board Member Amrit Lamsal handed over the cheque to Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle during an event held at the Ministry of Finance.

The bank said the contribution is part of its continued support for communities affected by natural disasters and national emergencies. Nepal Bank also reaffirmed its commitment to providing similar assistance during future disasters.

The recent floods in Rasuwa and Nuwakot have caused significant loss of life, property and infrastructure, leaving communities in need of immediate relief and recovery support.

Nepal Bank expressed condolences to those who lost their lives in the floods and landslides and extended sympathy to the bereaved families.
