The Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA) has blocked more than 200,000 websites and mobile applications associated with online betting and illegal financial transactions. The move is part of the authority's ongoing effort to curb unlawful digital activities and strengthen cyber regulation.

According to the NTA, the action was taken in coordination with relevant government agencies to prevent online gambling and unauthorized financial operations. The authority has also urged internet users to avoid illegal online platforms and use only legitimate digital services.
