Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has resumed the nationwide sale and distribution of 14.2 kg LPG cylinders from today. Consumers can now purchase the standard-size cooking gas cylinder at Rs 2,060 per cylinder. Earlier, the corporation had temporarily supplied only 7.1 kg cylinders to ease pressure on the supply system.

According to NOC, improved LPG loading and supply from Indian Oil Corporation's bottling plants and refineries has enabled the return of full-sized cylinders. The corporation stated that both 7.1 kg and 14.2 kg cylinders may remain available in the market for a transitional period until the smaller cylinders are fully withdrawn. Consumers have also been advised to verify the cylinder's weight and price before purchase and avoid unnecessary stockpiling as LPG supplies remain stable.
