Nepal’s export trade has shown growth in the first 10 months of the current fiscal year, with goods worth Rs 88.22 billion exported abroad.

According to information provided by Information Officer Uday Singh Bista of the Birgunj Customs Office, exports during the same period in the previous fiscal year stood at Rs 83.25 billion, indicating a positive growth trend in foreign trade.

Among major export items, processed soybean oil worth Rs 48.11 billion was exported, making it the largest contributor. Similarly, Rs 5.35 billion worth of processed sunflower oil and Rs 6.42 billion worth of fruit juice were also shipped abroad.

Other notable exports include textiles worth Rs 3.03 billion and synthetic yarn valued at Rs 2.25 billion. These figures reflect Nepal’s growing presence in value-added agro and textile-based export markets.
