Nepal Stock Market Falls 13.85 Points, Trading Surpasses Rs 4 Billion

Nepal’s stock market declined by double digits on the first trading day of the week. According to the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the benchmark index fell 13.85 points, or 0.54 percent, to close at 2,531.55 points. All sectoral indices ended the session in negative territory. A total of 105,886,53 shares were traded across 341 companies, generating a total turnover of Rs 4,009,717,898.77. Liberty Energy recorded the highest gain, with its investors earning 15 percent, while Sindhu Development Bank suffered the largest decline of 14.98 percent. Liberty Energy also led the market in turnover, with shares worth Rs 454,888,630.70 traded during the session.
