Nepal Stock Market (NEPSE) to Remain Closed for 4 Consecutive Days Due to Public Holidays

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), along with all financial markets, banks, and financial institutions, will remain closed for four consecutive days starting from Jestha 14. During this period, no stock trading or financial services will be available.

The government has already declared a public holiday on Thursday (Jestha 14) on the occasion of Bakr Eid (Eid-ul-Adha). This will be followed by another public holiday on Friday (Jestha 15) for Republic Day.

In addition, Saturday and Sunday (Jestha 16 and 17) fall under the regular weekly holiday schedule, resulting in a continuous four-day closure of all financial and government institutions.

As a result, investors will not be able to trade in the stock market during this period, and overall market activity will remain suspended. NEPSE will resume regular trading after the holidays.
