Kratikal Tech Limited, an India-based AI-powered cybersecurity company co-founded by Nepali entrepreneur Deepjang Thapa, has achieved a major milestone by being listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The company's Initial Public Offering (IPO) was oversubscribed 205.08 times, reflecting strong investor confidence.
The IPO opened on July 1 (Ashadh 16) and closed on July 3 (Ashadh 18), receiving overwhelming demand from investors. The listing is regarded as a significant achievement for a company co-founded by a Nepali entrepreneur in the Indian capital market.
Founded in 2013 by engineering classmates Deepjang Thapa, Pawan Kumar, and Pratosh Kumar, Kratikal Tech has grown into a trusted provider of AI-driven cybersecurity solutions, SaaS-based security platforms, consulting services, and regulatory compliance solutions.
Originally from Khotang, Nepal, Deepjang Thapa serves as the company's Chief Operating Officer (COO). A graduate of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), he previously worked as a Product Manager at Paytm.
Commenting on the milestone, Thapa described the journey from the hills of Khotang to the trading floor of the Bombay Stock Exchange as a dream come true. He said the overwhelming investor response validates the company's vision and marks the beginning of its next phase of global expansion.
Today, Kratikal Tech serves clients across banking and financial services (BFSI), fintech, telecommunications, IT, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, e-commerce, and manufacturing sectors in India, the Middle East, and other international markets.
The company is currently valued at approximately NPR 3.23 billion. Funds raised through the IPO will support expansion into the United States, the Middle East, and other global markets while strengthening its AI-powered cybersecurity offerings. The company has also partnered with Kathmandu-based Gap Technologies to expand its cybersecurity presence in Nepal.
