NEPSE and Trading Turnover Rise Slightly
The NEPSE index rose 2.31 points to 2,574.65 on Thursday, while daily trading turnover increased to more than Rs. 3.93 billion.

The NEPSE index closed slightly higher on Thursday after declining marginally in the previous trading session. The index gained 2.31 points to reach 2,574.65. The Sensitive Index increased by 0.81 points, while the Float Index and Sensitive Float Index rose by 0.22 points and 0.29 points, respectively.
Trading turnover also increased alongside the NEPSE index. The market recorded transactions worth Rs. 3.74 billion on Wednesday, while Thursday’s turnover reached Rs. 3.93056 billion. A total of 11.233 million shares were traded during the session.
Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower traded at the positive circuit level after the company announced an 18% bonus share distribution, attracting investors. Snow Rivers gained around 6.5%, while the unit prices of Laxmi Value Fund II and Mega Mutual Fund I increased by around 6%. RBB Mutual Fund II recorded the highest decline, falling 8.07%.
In terms of turnover, Ghalemdi Hydro remained at the top with shares worth Rs. 260.6 million traded. Himal Dolakha Hydropower recorded more than Rs. 190 million in turnover, while Peoples Hydropower crossed Rs. 140 million.
Of the 13 sub-indices, eight advanced while five declined. Banking, Development Bank, Hydropower, Investment, Manufacturing and Processing, Mutual Fund, Non-Life Insurance and Trading sub-indices recorded gains.
