NEPSE Closes at 2,700 Points, Turnover Declines
Nepal’s NEPSE index closed at 2,700.65 points with a slight decline, while turnover also dropped by 2%.

Nepal’s stock market benchmark index NEPSE closed at 2,700.65 points on the first trading day of the week, showing a slight decline.
According to market data, shares of 353 listed companies were traded today. Out of these, 110 companies saw their share prices increase, while 149 companies experienced a decline.
A total of 81.12 million shares were traded, amounting to Rs 4.42 billion in turnover. This represents a 2% decrease compared to the previous trading day.
Among the listed sectors, Finance, Microfinance, and Trading indices posted gains, while most other sectors ended in negative territory.
Top gainers included Taksar Pikhuwakhola Hydropower, Yambaling Hydropower, and Saptakoshi Development Bank. On the losing side, investors in Nepal Bank debentures, Guardian Micro Life Insurance, and Bhujung Hydropower faced the highest losses.
