NEPSE Drops by 33 Points to 2833; All Sub-Indices End in Red
The NEPSE index declined by over 33 points, with all sub-indices ending in the red, reflecting a broad-based market downturn.

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index witnessed a significant decline today, falling by 33.83 points to close at 2,833.03. This represents a drop of 1.18 percent, indicating a broad market downturn.
A total of 342 companies traded 20.7 million shares through 111,607 transactions, generating a turnover of over Rs. 9.31 billion.
All sectoral indices ended in negative territory. Banking, development banks, finance, hotels and tourism, hydropower, and investment groups recorded losses. Similarly, life insurance, manufacturing, microfinance, mutual funds, non-life insurance, trading, and other sectors also declined.
Despite the overall market fall, share prices of Ridgeline Energy Limited and Suryakund Hydroelectric Limited hit positive circuit limits. Meanwhile, Sindhu Development Bank recorded the highest loss of 9.47 percent among listed companies.
