NEPSE Ends the Week Higher as Turnover Jumps 33%

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index closed the week's final trading session 7.90 points higher at 2,734.63. A total of 353 listed companies traded more than 13.7 million shares worth over Rs. 6.26 billion, marking a 33% increase in turnover compared to the previous trading day. Share prices of 143 companies advanced, 118 declined, while 15 remained unchanged.

Everest Color Limited, Atmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, and Samaj Laghubitta Finance delivered the highest gains of the day. On the losing side, investors in the 10% Sanima Debenture and Corporate Development Bank recorded the biggest declines. Ridi Power Company led the market in turnover, while Kumari Bank recorded the highest trading volume by number of shares.
