NEPSE Falls 21.15 Points as Turnover Exceeds Rs. 4.07 Billion

Nepal's stock market declined sharply on Tuesday, with the NEPSE Index falling 21.15 points to close at 2,663.18.
During the day's trading, 58 companies posted gains while 214 companies declined. A total of 107.61 million shares of 343 listed companies were traded, generating a turnover of more than Rs. 4.07 billion.
In terms of trading value, Khanikhola Hydropower Company topped the market with transactions worth Rs. 406.6 million. It was followed by Siddhartha Bank with Rs. 167.7 million, National Hydropower with Rs. 165.7 million, and Central Finance with Rs. 149.1 million in turnover.
Everest Color was the day's biggest gainer, with its share price rising 15 percent. Khanikhola Hydropower gained 10.07 percent, while Joshi Hydropower advanced 5.26 percent.
On the losing side, Saptakoshi Development Bank recorded the biggest decline of the day, with its share price falling 11.67 percent.
