NEPSE Falls 9.62 Points, Turnover Reaches Rs. 4.65 Billion
Nepal’s stock market declined for another session on Tuesday, with the NEPSE index falling 9.62 points to 2,603.71
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) declined again on Tuesday, with the benchmark index falling 9.62 points to close at 2,603.71.
A total of 110,069,074 shares of 363 companies changed hands during the session, generating a turnover of Rs. 4.654 billion.
Most sectors recorded declines, while the non-life insurance and other sectors were among those that did not follow the broader downward movement.
ICFC Debenture 2083 recorded the highest gain of the day, rising 9.18%, while Sayapatri Hydropower gained 6.79%. Citizen Super 30 Mutual Fund recorded the largest decline, falling 5.44%.
Himalayan Distillery recorded the highest turnover at around Rs. 229.9 million, followed by Shivam Cement with turnover of approximately Rs. 172.5 million.
