NEPSE Falls by 26.16 Points as Turnover Crosses NPR 6.52 Billion

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index dropped by 26.16 points today, settling at 2,770.26.

According to NEPSE, shares of 349 companies were traded, totaling 14,013,167 units through 151,286 transactions, with a total turnover of NPR 6.52 billion.

In today’s trading, only the “Others” sector gained 0.73%, while all other sector indices declined. Banking fell by 0.84%, Development Banks by 1.22%, Finance by 0.61%, Hotels & Tourism by 2.56%, Hydropower by 1.74%, Investment by 0.47%, and Life Insurance by 0.16%.

Similarly, Manufacturing & Processing dropped by 2.46%, Microfinance by 0.44%, Mutual Funds by 0.31%, Non-life Insurance by 0.39%, and Trading sector by 0.39%.

Among individual performers, Himalayan Bank Limited Bond 2086 gained the highest by 6%, while Corporate Development Bank Limited recorded the biggest loss, plunging 14.99%.
