NEPSE Falls by 27.85 Points; Daily Turnover Reaches Rs. 5.98 Billion
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) declined by 27.85 points on Sunday, closing at 2,786.35, while total daily turnover stood at Rs. 5.98 billion.
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a double-digit loss on Sunday. The benchmark index declined by 27.85 points, or 1 percent, to close at 2,786.35. In the previous trading session, the market had gained 16.38 points.
The index opened at 2,752.95 and touched an intraday high of 2,790.34 before falling to a low of 2,752.46 during the trading session.
A total of 14.54 million shares of 342 listed companies were traded through 75,856 transactions. The total daily turnover reached Rs. 5.98 billion, according to NEPSE data.
The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 47.52 trillion, while the float market capitalization remained at Rs. 15.87 trillion.
