The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 13.36 points during the pre-open session on Wednesday, reaching 2,718.07.
A total of 1,323 shares were traded during the session, amounting to Rs 1.223 million in turnover.
Among the traded companies, share prices of 19 companies increased, while 16 declined and 4 remained unchanged.
The positive movement in the pre-open session has raised investor interest regarding the market trend for the day.
