NEPSE Issues Final Notice to 21 Listed Companies Over Unpaid Renewal Fees

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has issued a final notice to 21 listed companies for failing to pay their annual renewal fees as required under the Securities Listing Regulations, 2075.

According to NEPSE, despite prior communications, these companies have not yet cleared their dues, prompting the exchange to take stricter action. The regulator has now instructed all concerned firms to immediately settle the outstanding renewal fees along with applicable penalties.

As per the provision, companies with paid-up capital up to Rs. 5 crores must pay a renewal fee of Rs. 50,000, while those above this threshold are required to pay Rs. 100,000. Failure to comply within the stipulated time will result in a penalty of 10% annually on the outstanding amount.

NEPSE has also directed companies to deposit the fees into its designated account at Global IME Bank and submit payment vouchers via email. The exchange has warned that further regulatory action may follow if companies continue to ignore the directive.
