NEPSE Posts Marginal Gain as Turnover Reaches Rs. 4.89 Billion
Nepal’s stock market edged up by 0.26 points on Thursday to close at 2,599.15 points.

Nepal’s stock market recorded a marginal increase on Thursday, with the NEPSE index rising by 0.26 points to close at 2,599.15 points.
The index gained 0.01% after the market recovered slightly toward the end of the trading session.
According to NEPSE, share prices of 139 companies increased, while 128 companies declined and 12 companies remained unchanged.
Total turnover stood at Rs. 4.89 billion, with 12.06 million shares traded through 51,745 transactions.
Sindhu Development Bank, Corporate Development Bank, Emerging Nepal Limited, Upper Mailung Khola Hydropower and Hathway Investment were among the top five gainers of the day.
In terms of sectoral performance, the commercial banking, development banking, finance and hydropower sectors posted gains, while the remaining sectoral indices declined.
