NEPSE Rebounds After Four-Day Decline, Turnover Crosses Rs. 8.41 Billion
Nepal’s stock market recovered on Tuesday after four consecutive days of decline, with the NEPSE index gaining 6.11 points as trading turnover rose above Rs. 8.41 billion.

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a recovery on Tuesday after declining for four straight trading sessions. The benchmark index rose by 6.11 points to close at 2,576.29 points.
A total of 18.29 million shares of 383 listed companies were traded during the day, generating a turnover of Rs. 8.41 billion, which was about 13 percent higher than Monday’s trading volume. Share prices of 164 companies increased, while 101 companies recorded losses.
Among the listed sectors, only the Manufacturing and Processing group closed in negative territory, while all other sectoral indices posted gains. The Trading sector recorded the highest increase of 1.47 percent.
Investors in Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Debenture, Shangrila Development Bank Debenture, and Upakar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha emerged as the day’s top gainers. On the losing side, investors in Nepal SBI Bank Debenture, Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha, and Swabalamban Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha suffered the largest declines.
