NEPSE Rebounds by 12.96 Points After Four Straight Losing Sessions

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) ended its four-session losing streak on Friday, gaining 12.96 points to close at 2,685.54.

Market activity also improved, with 8.85 million shares traded worth Rs 3.75 billion during the day. In the previous session, 7.55 million shares worth Rs 3.38 billion had changed hands.

Among the traded companies, 180 stocks advanced, while 82 declined and 13 remained unchanged, indicating a broader recovery in market sentiment.

In terms of turnover, Ridi Power Company Limited topped the list with transactions exceeding Rs 172.6 million.

It was followed by Global IME Bank with Rs 153.2 million, Central Finance with Rs 148.3 million, Reliance Spinning Mills with Rs 116 million, and Corporate Development Bank with more than Rs 108.7 million in traded value.

The rebound after four consecutive sessions of decline suggests renewed buying interest and improved investor sentiment in the market.
