The NEPSE index rose by 11.93 points, or 0.45% on Thursday to close at 2,624.36 points, recovering partially from a 21.19-point decline in the previous trading session.
The benchmark index opened at 2,616.12 points and fluctuated between an intraday high of 2,637.58 and a low of 2,615.69 before closing at 2,624.36.
Total market turnover stood at Rs. 5.49 arba with 13,610,496 shares of 339 companies changing hands through 51,728 transactions.
The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 45.17 kharba while float market capitalization was recorded at Rs. 15.28 kharba.
Top Turnover
Siddhartha Bank Limited (SBL) recorded the highest turnover of the day, with shares worth Rs. 33.62 crore traded. The bank’s stock closed at Rs. 447 per share.

Top Gainer
Dhaulagiri Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (DLBS) led the gainers, with its share price rising 12.43% to close at Rs. 1,248.
