NEPSE Rises by Double Digits as Hydropower Stocks Attract Investors
The NEPSE index gained 14.17 points on Thursday to close at 2,726.72.

Nepal's stock market closed higher on Thursday, with the NEPSE index advancing 14.17 points to settle at 2,726.72.
Despite the rise in the benchmark index, daily trading turnover declined to NPR 4.69 billion compared to the previous trading session. Hydropower companies continued to attract significant investor interest throughout the day.
Reliance Spinning Mills, Ankhu Khola Hydropower Company, Ridi Power Company, Solu Hydropower, and NRN Infrastructure were among the most actively traded stocks, recording transactions ranging from NPR 162.4 million to NPR 283.3 million.
Top gainers included Everest Color, Snowriver, Apollo Hydropower, Shikhar Power Development Bank, and Hotel Fergate Inn Limited, with share prices rising between 7.51% and 14.99%.
On the losing side, Kutheli Bukhari Small Hydropower, Bungol Hydropower, and Reliance Spinning Mills recorded declines of up to 4.48%.
