NEPSE Surges by 38 Points as All Sector Indices Close in Green

Nepal’s secondary stock market witnessed a strong rally on Monday as the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index surged by 38.19 points to close at 2,783.85. The benchmark index recorded a gain of 1.39 percent compared to the previous trading session.

The Sensitive Index, which measures the performance of large-cap companies, also rose by 6.08 points to settle at 473.41.

Among the traded companies, share prices of 247 companies increased, while 18 companies closed lower. The prices of four companies remained unchanged during the session.

A total of 10.43 million shares were traded, generating a turnover of Rs. 4.61 billion.

Companies recording the highest turnover included Reliance Spinning Mills Limited, National Hydropower Company Limited, SY Panel Nepal Limited, Ridi Power Company Limited, and Sahas Urja Limited.

All sectoral indices closed in the green, reflecting positive investor confidence across the market.

Meanwhile, investors in First Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, Kumari Dhanabriddhi Yojana, Dolti Power Company Limited, Atmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited, and Meychiang Hydropower Limited recorded notable gains.

On the losing side, investors in Trishuli Jal Vidhyut Company Limited, NMB-50, Laxmi Bank Debenture, Siddhartha Investment Growth Scheme 2, and Prime Bank Debenture faced declines.
