NIFRA Proposes 5.2632% Cash Dividend for FY2082/83

Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (NIFRA) has proposed a 5.2632% cash dividend for fiscal year 2082/83 continuing its dividend distribution to shareholders.

The decision was taken at the bank’s 191st Board of Directors meeting held on Bhadra 14. The proposed cash dividend is based on the bank’s paid-up capital of Rs21.60 billion.

NIFRA has proposed a 5.2632% cash dividend including tax amounting to Rs1.13685 billion in total.

The proposed dividend will not be distributed immediately. It will first require approval from Nepal Rastra Bank and subsequent endorsement by the bank’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).

NIFRA’s proposed payout comes as investors enter the latest dividend season, with listed companies announcing distributions for FY2082/83.

As of the latest trading data cited in the announcement, NIFRA’s last traded price (LTP) stood at Rs239.

The proposed cash dividend represents a direct return to shareholders without increasing the company’s share capital through bonus shares. The final dividend however will depend on regulatory approval and the AGM’s endorsement.
