Nippon Pharmaceutical to Issue IPO, Nabil Investment Banking Appointed as Issue Manager

Nippon Pharmaceutical Limited, based in Morang, Koshi Province, is preparing to issue an Initial Public Offering (IPO). The company has appointed Nabil Investment Banking Limited as the issue and sales manager for the proposed IPO.
An agreement was signed by Nippon Pharmaceutical Managing Director Mantu Ghimire and Nabil Investment Banking Chief Executive Officer Manish Narayan Joshi.
Located in Bakhari, Biratnagar Metropolitan City–12, Morang, Nippon Pharmaceutical manufactures various pharmaceutical products in accordance with WHO-GMP and international quality standards.
The company produces tablets, capsules, liquid medicines, ointments, creams, gels, oral rehydration salts (ORS), dry syrups and penicillin-based medicines, among other products.
Nippon Pharmaceutical was formally registered in 2006, while its manufacturing facility was established in 2017. The company began commercial production and marketing in 2022.
The company says it has introduced more than 60 products across various therapeutic segments during the four years since starting commercial production.
Operating under the slogan “Wellbeing for All,” the company aims to contribute to Nepal’s pharmaceutical self-reliance by producing medicines needed in the country and supporting the national healthcare system.
The company says it is continuing to develop and manufacture a diverse range of pharmaceutical products to address the needs of Nepal’s domestic pharmaceutical market.
