NMB Bank Launches ‘Province Savings Accounts’ Across All Seven Provinces with Free First-Year Digital Services

NMB Bank Limited has launched a new 'Province Savings Account' scheme designed for customers across all seven provinces of Nepal, aiming to address regional identity while promoting financial inclusion and digital banking.
According to the bank, each savings account is named after a landmark or identity associated with a province. The products include Koshi Savings Account for Koshi Province, Mithila Savings Account for Madhesh Province, Bagmati Savings Account for Bagmati Province, Fewa Savings Account for Gandaki Province, Buddhabhumi Savings Account for Lumbini Province, Rara Savings Account for Karnali Province, and Khaptad Savings Account for Sudurpashchim Province.
To encourage digital banking and savings, the bank has bundled several complimentary services with the new accounts.
Customers opening these accounts will receive free mobile banking, internet banking, Visa debit card, Demat account registration, and Mero Share registration for the first year, along with additional banking benefits.
NMB Bank stated that the initiative is intended to provide customers with a more personalized, convenient, and digitally focused banking experience, while strengthening financial access across all regions of Nepal.
