Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Deputy Governor Kiran Pandit has disclosed his asset details, revealing over 6,500 shares across banking, hydropower, and insurance sectors.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Deputy Governor Kiran Pandit has officially disclosed his property and investment details, revealing a diversified portfolio spanning real estate, banking, hydropower, insurance, and precious metals.
According to the official disclosure released by the Governor’s Office, Pandit and his family hold multiple land assets in Tokha, Tarakeswor, Dhangadhi, along with ancestral properties in Kathmandu and Tanahun. His financial holdings include over NPR 2 crore deposited in various bank accounts.
In addition, his household assets include 20 tolas of gold, 250 tolas of silver, and diamonds valued at around NPR 2 lakh.
His participation in the capital market is significant, with a total of over 6,500 shares. Individually, Pandit holds 2,948 units in Banks and Financial Institutions (BFIs), 3,606 units in hydropower companies, and 36 units in insurance companies. His wife, Kamana Sharma Pandit, and son, Abhyudaya Pandit, also hold shares in BFIs and insurance sectors.
The disclosure confirms that most shares were obtained through primary issuance, with some updates pending due to dematerialization processes. This step aligns with NRB’s commitment to transparency and good governance following his appointment on Chaitra 24, 2082.
