Leaders of Nepal's two major communist parties, CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', are set to appear together at a public program today.

The event, organized by the Madan Bhandari Foundation, commemorates the 75th birth anniversary of late communist leader Madan Bhandari. The national seminar, titled "Nepal's Communist Movement and People's Leader Madan Bhandari," will be held at the National Assembly Hall.

Former President Bidya Devi Bhandari will attend the program as the Chief Guest.

The seminar will also feature addresses by Nepal Samajwadi Party Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal, former Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal, and Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav, bringing together several prominent political figures from across Nepal's communist and socialist spectrum.

The gathering is being closely watched as leading communist leaders representing different political parties will share the same platform. Speakers are expected to discuss Madan Bhandari's political ideology, his contribution to Nepal's democratic movement, and the evolution of the country's communist movement.
