Om Megashree Pharmaceuticals Limited has decided to acquire Royal Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd., marking a strategic consolidation in Nepal’s pharmaceutical sector. The company has formally informed the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), Nepal Stock Exchange, and CDS and Clearing Limited regarding the decision.

According to the company, the Board of Directors meeting held on Asar 2 approved the acquisition of Royal Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. Following this decision, both companies are preparing to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to formally proceed with the merger and acquisition process.

The company expects that the acquisition will enhance production capacity, expand market reach, and strengthen competitiveness in the pharmaceutical industry. It is also anticipated that the merger will improve operational efficiency and long-term sustainability in the sector.
