Opposition parties have strongly criticized the government’s decision to introduce ordinances and announced a four-point resolution demanding their withdrawal.

Opposition parties in Nepal have expressed strong dissatisfaction over the government’s decision to introduce ordinances while the संसद remains suspended. A meeting held at Singha Durbar on Wednesday resulted in a joint four-point decision opposing the move.
The meeting was chaired by Bhishmaraj Angdembe and attended by leaders including Ram Bahadur Thapa, Yubaraj Dulal, and Saraswati Lama.
The parties termed the ordinance decision as undemocratic and against parliamentary norms. They have decided to strongly oppose and condemn the move.
The opposition has also demanded the immediate withdrawal of all recommended ordinances and urged the President not to approve them.
Furthermore, they have called on the government to immediately convene the long-suspended federal parliament session, emphasizing the need to follow proper legislative processes through parliament.
