Police have removed several vehicles that were found suspiciously parked outside media organizations and Bhatbhateni Supermarket in Kathmandu as part of a security operation.

The unattended vehicles were discovered outside Kantipur Publications in Tinkune, Onlinekhabar in New Baneshwor, Himalayan Television in Mid-Baneshwor, and Bhatbhateni Supermarket in Anamnagar. The vehicle parked directly in front of the Kantipur gate was towed away using a crane after causing temporary disruption to traffic movement.

According to the Department of Transport Management records, the vehicle with registration number Ba. Pra. 01-034 Cha 8480 found outside Kantipur is registered under Sanima Bank. Similarly, the vehicle outside Himalayan Television (Ba.10 Cha 1255) is registered in the name of Subash Bhandari, while the vehicle outside Onlinekhabar (Ba.12 Cha 8545) is registered under Sunil Poudel.

Police stated that an investigation is underway to identify the individuals responsible for leaving the vehicles unattended on public roads. The security agencies are examining the circumstances behind the suspicious parking of the vehicles.
