The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has issued a warning regarding increasing cases of digital financial fraud.

According to the bureau, scammers are sending messages with names similar to ConnectIPS and tricking users into clicking phishing links. These links are used to collect personal and banking information, leading to unauthorized access to bank accounts.

Spokesperson Dilip Kumar Giri stated that such activities have resulted in significant financial losses for victims.

Authorities have urged the public not to click on unknown or suspicious links, avoid sharing sensitive information, and use only official apps and platforms.

They also advised reporting any suspicious activity to the concerned authorities immediately.
