Prabhu Select Fund and Prabhu Smart Fund Set Book Closure for 12% Dividend
Prabhu Select Fund and Prabhu Smart Fund have set Bhadra 25 as the book closure date for their 12% cash dividend distribution.
Prabhu Select Fund (PSF) and Prabhu Smart Fund (PRSF), operated under Prabhu Mutual Fund, have announced their book closure date for the distribution of cash dividends to eligible unitholders.
Both mutual funds will close their books for one day on Bhadra 25. Accordingly, investors whose units are maintained in their accounts with NEPSE up to Bhadra 24 will be eligible to receive the announced dividend.
The two closed-end mutual fund schemes have announced a 12% cash dividend, including tax, for their unitholders.
The decision to distribute the dividend was taken at a meeting of the fund manager's board of directors held on Bhadra 5.
Investors seeking to qualify for the dividend must hold the units before the book closure date. The book closure effectively determines the list of unitholders eligible to receive the dividend.
The announcement comes as Nepal's closed-end mutual fund sector continues to attract investor attention, particularly around cash dividend yields, NAV and market prices.
