President Ram Chandra Paudel has called on all political parties and stakeholders to extend their cooperation in ensuring that the elections scheduled for Falgun 21, 2081 are successfully held.

The President’s appeal comes at a time when eight political parties have been protesting the recent parliamentary dissolution, calling it unconstitutional and undemocratic. Despite the tensions, Paudel stressed that the country has been given a rare opportunity to safeguard democracy and move forward through the electoral process.

“The constitution has been preserved, the parliamentary system remains intact, and the federal democratic republic stands firm. Within six months, conducting the House of Representatives election will pave the way for a stronger democracy,” Paudel said in an official statement.

His remarks highlight the balancing role of the presidency in urging calm, consensus, and stability at a politically fragile moment.
