President Ramchandra Paudel has authenticated the Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Bill, 2083. According to the Office of the President, the bill was authenticated in accordance with the Constitution after being passed by the House of Representatives and submitted for presidential approval.

The legislation is intended to create a legal framework for mobilizing alternative sources of financing for development projects. The government aims to attract investment from the private sector, institutional investors, and innovative financial instruments for infrastructure, energy, tourism, urban development, and other priority sectors.

With the bill now authenticated, the process of implementing legal mechanisms related to public-private partnerships, development finance, project investment, and long-term capital mobilization is expected to move forward. Officials believe the new law will help reduce reliance on traditional government funding and encourage broader investment participation.
