Prime Minister Balen Shah to Hold Discussions with Construction Entrepreneurs Today

Prime Minister Balen Shah is set to hold discussions with representatives of Nepal's construction industry today, focusing on the sector's key challenges, practical issues, and policy measures needed to improve the business environment.
The meeting is scheduled for 11:30 AM at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. Senior officials and former office bearers of the Federation of Contractors' Associations of Nepal (FCAN) are expected to participate.
According to the federation, participants will include President Nicholas Pandey, Senior Vice President Mukesh Pant, General Secretary Shivahari Ghimire, Bagmati Province Vice President Balkrishna Thapa, and former President and Advisor Jayaram Lamichhane.
The discussion will focus on the problems currently affecting the construction sector, practical challenges faced by contractors, possible solutions, and policy reforms the government can implement to facilitate infrastructure development and improve the operating environment for construction businesses.
